Karen possessed a voice that was both delicate, powerful, and haunting. Her singing left a lasting impact that stayed with you long after the music faded.

I was one of the children singing! This was a true highlight of my childhood. So much gratitude to our Director Joyce Altman (Z''l) and of course to ABBA, who were amazing, kind, supportive, and all-around wonderful!! 1979 was "Year of the Child," so ABBA gave a large portion of their revenues to charity. We were a UNICEF choir from Milwaukee, that had formed for this very purpose. We prepared every day after school for months, and were SO PROUD and excited!! Thank you for the music, ABBA!! xoxox

I loved their music and the silky voice of Karen and the genius of Richard will never be duplicated. It truly reflected an innocence of a generation and then also a loss of innocence. They are on my playlist.

Great programme. Love The Carpenters. Definitely the wrong number 1 though!
